Kim, Chang & Lee is seeking to hire foreign attorneys to work in its busy general corporate and M&A practice. We are interested in foreign attorneys who graduated from a JD program at a US law school and are in their second to fifth years out of law school and have significant prior work experience with a corporate law firm in Korea. We seek to hire candidates who are fully bilingual in English and Korean with strong knowledge in Korean law and confidence to work with other attorneys in various projects. A successful candidate would also have strong writing, translation and contract drafting and negotiation skills.

Kim, Chang & Lee’s client base largely consists of well-known multinational corporations for which excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Korean are paramount. Thus, the firm is a place where foreign attorneys are given opportunities (and expected) to work on significant matters alongside other attorneys as a team. Foreign attorneys at the firm will work on a broad range of matters involving international business transactions, foreign investments, joint ventures, M&A transactions, general corporate matters involving foreign-invested companies, intellectual property, fair trade, data privacy and corporate immigration, among others.
